Non-competitive recreational motor event at free pace
Art. 1 ORGANISATION
The Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude (Consortium of the Royal Residences of Savoy) announces and organises in the year 2023 the 1st Edition of the Camminate Reali (Royal Walks), a non-competitive recreational motor event at free pace, on four different dates and locations.
ITINERARY 1 – Palazzo Reale e Madama di Torino – Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi – SUNDAY 14 MAY 2023 – 20 KM
Meeting at 7.00 a.m. in Piazza Castello in Turin and arrival at the Stupinigi square.
In case of bad weather: postponed to Sunday 28 May.
ITINERARY 2 – Sant’Antonio di Ranverso – Reggia di Venaria – SUNDAY JULY 2, 2023 – approx. 20 KMS
Meeting at 8.00 am at the Abbey of Sant’Antonio di Ranverso and arrival at the Reggia di Venaria.
In case of bad weather: postponed to Sunday 9 July.
ITINERARY 3 – Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (circular route) – SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2023 – approx. 20 KM.
Meeting at 8 a.m. in Stupinigi square and return to Stupinigi.
In the event of bad weather: postponed to Sunday 17 September.
ITINERARY 4 – Mandrialooonga: Reggia di Venaria (circular route) – SUNDAY 8th OCTOBER 2023 – approx. 20 KM
Meeting at 8.00 a.m. at the Reggia di Venaria (route through the Gardens) and return to the Reggia.
In the event of bad weather: postponed to Sunday 22 October.
Art. 2 ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS
The “Camminate Reali 2023” event shall be held in compliance with these Rules and Regulations and any amendments and notices that will be published on the websites www.lavenaria.it and www.camminatereali.it.
Participation in the walks implies the unreserved acceptance of these Rules and Regulations, in all their parts.
Participants are also obliged to respect the Highway Code, in particular in those sections where the route crosses ordinary roads where these will not be closed to vehicular traffic.
By registering, each participant undertakes to comply with these regulations and releases the organisers from any civil or criminal liability for any accident or incident, for damage to persons or property caused to him or by him, that may occur during the event.
Art. 3 PARTICIPATION MODALITIES AND REGISTRATION FEES
All men and women who have reached the age of 18 on the date of registration may participate in the event. Minors may be registered for the walk by the person exercising parental authority.
Single Walk: 25€ (reduced: 20€ under 18 years, Associazione 2FHiking, Royal Pass and Museum Pass; 10€ under 12 years; free: under 6 years)
Four Walks: 70€ (concessions: 30€ under 18 years; free: under 6 years)

Registration closes at 12 noon on the Thursday before the date of the Walk.
The participant absolves the organisers of all liability regarding his/her physical fitness to take part in the event.
IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY OF THE DEDICATED T-SHIRT BEFORE THE DATE OF THE EVENT, REGISTRATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 15 DAYS BEFORE THE WALK. AFTER THIS DATE, THE DELIVERY OF THE T-SHIRT IN THE REQUESTED SIZE WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED.
The registration fee entitles you to
– Dedicated t-shirt (for over 12 years) for each walk
– insurance
– Assistance during the walk
– Telescopic beaker
– Shuttle service when scheduled
– Stage and final refreshments
– WC in start/finish area and at refreshment points
– Entrance to the Gardens of the Reggia di Venaria in itinerary 4.
The fee does not include admission to the Residences.
It will be possible to register in the following ways:
1. ON LINE: directly on the website www.camminatereali.it (by payment by Credit Card or Satispay )
2. PERSONALLY: at the Ticket Office of the Reggia di Venaria and the affiliated registration points – list available on the website www.camminatereali.it (by cash payment)
The secretary’s office that manages enrolments will send confirmation of enrolment to all those who indicate a valid e-mail address. When registering, it is important that the e-mail address is given correctly. Entries can also be verified via the website www.camminatereali.it.
The organisers reserve the right to close entries early depending on the number of participants or to accept entries after the closing date at their sole discretion.
Art. 4 RECEIVING KIT
The KIT including a dedicated T-shirt (for over 12 years old) for each walk, telescopic glass and other gadgets will be handed over upon presentation of the registration confirmation.
The registration confirmation must be presented to collect the kit together with proof of identity.
The kit may be collected
– at affiliated points (communicated on the website www.camminatereali.it);
– at the starting point of the walk on the day of the event one hour before the meeting time.
It will be possible to collect the kit for other participants by presenting a single or cumulative proxy (for large groups) and the relevant confirmation of registration.
Art. 5 FURTHER INFORMATION
The route includes both asphalt and dirt tracks, so we recommend suitable shoes and clothing.
Clothing and footwear suitable for the expected weather conditions must be worn.
Four-legged friends are allowed on a leash with an accompanying person. The organisation accepts no responsibility for dogs. Each owner is fully responsible for his or her pet.
For ITINERARY 4 (Mandrialooonga: Reggia di Venaria) 4-legged friends are allowed on a leash with an accompanying person with an alternative route (excluding the departure and arrival in the Gardens of the Reggia).
Art. 6 REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEES
Under no circumstances shall the registration fee be refunded for any cause or reason whatsoever, including force majeure not depending on the participant.
In the event of bad weather conditions and/or for safety reasons, the organisation, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify the route, suspend the event in progress or delay the start.
The organisation reserves the right to change the route or the location of the rescue and refreshment posts at any time, without prior notice and at its sole discretion.
In the event of adverse weather conditions that jeopardise the safety of participants, the start may be postponed or cancelled, the route may be modified and shortened, or the walk may be stopped at any point along the route.
Suspension or cancellation of the walk will not entitle participants to a refund of the registration fee, but the possibility of participation in one of the subsequent Royal Walks.

Art. 7 SECURITY AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Ambulances and civil defence will be present on the territory. Rescue posts are intended to bring assistance to all persons in danger with the organisation’s own means or through contracted organisations.
Rescuers are qualified to suspend participants deemed unfit to continue the walk. The rescuers are authorised to evacuate walkers judged to be in danger by all means at their disposal. In the event of necessity, for reasons that are in the best interests of the rescued person, only and exclusively at the judgement of the organisation, the official rescue service will be called upon, which will take over the management of operations and deploy all appropriate means. Any costs arising from the use of these exceptional means will be borne by the rescued person in accordance with the regulations in force.
The participant who calls on a doctor or rescuer submits de facto to their authority and undertakes to respect their decisions.
The entire route will be signposted by regulation posts, webbing, biological sprays, logoed and reflective flags.
Art. 8 MAXIMUM TIME
The maximum running time is 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Beyond the maximum time, the organisation will no longer guarantee services and assistance on the route and at the finish line. Any participant wishing to continue beyond the maximum time will do so assuming all responsibility for any consequences that may arise.
Art. 9 ROUTES
The topographical map of each route, in its most up-to-date edition, will be available on the website www.camminatereali.it.
Art. 10 INSURANCE
The organisation shall take out civil liability insurance for the entire period of the trial. Participation takes place under the full responsibility of the competitors, who waive all claims against the organisers in the event of damage and further consequences arising from the competition.
Art. 11 DECLARATIONS OF LIABILITY
By registering for the event, the participant
– declares that he/she does not have any physical or mental impediment to the practice of sport, and that he/she has carried out a fitness examination for non-competitive sport with a positive result within the last year;
– declares that he/she has taken note of the absolute contraindications to the walk set out below and undertakes to inform the organisation of any prescriptions to be adopted in his/her regard;
– declares that he/she has been informed in advance by the organisers of the difficulties and risks involved in the proposed walk and intends to take part in it at his/her own risk and declares that he/she will abide by the instructions given;
– exonerates the aforementioned organisers from any liability and compensation to him/her for physical or material damage occurring before, during or after the walk, even if caused by extraneous third parties or other participants;
– declares that he/she is in possession of and can provide, at the request of the organiser, certification attesting to the truthfulness of what he/she declared at registration;
– declares that he/she has been fully informed of the content of this declaration, which he/she has carefully read and accepted on his/her own initiative.
List of absolute contraindications: heart disease of any kind, high blood pressure, syncopes or fainting spells of any kind, bone, muscle-tendon and joint deficits that reduce physical efficiency, respiratory pathologies such as asthma or emphysema, central or peripheral neurological pathologies (paralysis, paresis, epilepsy, etc.), psychosis and neurological disorders (paralysis, paresis, epilepsy, etc.), neurological disorders (paralysis, paresis, epilepsy, etc.), neurological disorders (paralysis, paresis, epilepsy, etc.), psychosis and neurological disorders (paralysis, paresis, epilepsy, etc.). ), major psychoses and neuroses, pregnancy, visual pathologies and deficits (severe myopia, retinal detachment, glaucoma, etc.), and hearing, being under the influence of medication, drugs or alcohol.
By registering for the event, the participant acknowledges that the Consortium of the Royal Residences of Savoy declines all responsibility for anything that may happen to participants, property or third parties during and after the relevant activities. Along the route, participants are required to comply with the Highway Code.
By signing the registration form, the participant declares that he/she knows and accepts the Rules and Regulations of the “Camminate Reali 2023” published on the website www.camminatereali.it.
He/she also expressly declares, under his/her own responsibility, that what has been declared corresponds to the truth and that he/she exonerates the organisers from all liability, both civil and criminal, for damage to persons and/or property caused by him/her or deriving from him/her.
Art. 12 TRANSFER OF IMAGE RIGHTS
By registering for the event each participant authorises the organising body, together with sponsors and media partners, to acquire the right to use – also for promotional and advertising purposes – his or her personal image acquired during the event, therefore expressly renouncing the right to use his or her image during the walk as well as any recourse related to the use made of his or her image.
Each participant therefore consents to the use of photographic, cinematographic and other filming of his/her image during the event and to its use for purposes related to the event – promotional, advertising and other – as well as for communication purposes, even of a commercial nature.
